In wood tech, we made a boomerang and a necklace carving with designs on it. I drew a three-pointed boomerang on a piece of wood then we cut it out on a bandsaw then sanded it to make it sharp. I drew a Maori fish hook on a piece of wood then I cut it out with a hand saw. After we cut the boomerang out we burn designs into the boomerang. It took me 2-3 periods to make my boomerang. And it took me 3 periods to finish my carvings.
