Metal Corrosion (Science)

In science, we tried to find out what liquid will make the iron nail rust the most out of salt water, cooking oil, calcium chloride with water, nail polish painted on the nail in water, and magnesium strips wrapped around the nail in water.
Conclusion

The nail with the magnesium wrapped around it rusted the most
The nail that was in the cooking oil didn't rust at all

  1. Good work Marshall. I would really like to see a discussion after your conclusion. A discussion can be used to explain the science behind your observations- why was oil the best at prevent corrosion, why did we try magnesium- what was the intention?
